BVLGARI EXPANDS ITS EMPIRE: THE BIGGEST FACTORY IN THE WORLD

Bvlgari is showing its most ambitious side yet with the expansion of its Manifattura in Valenza, Italy, now officially the largest single-brand jewelry manufacturing site in the world. This 33,000 m² giant isn’t just doubling its production capacity by 2029 — it’s establishing itself as a temple of sustainability and Italian savoir-faire. With more than 4,100 solar panels and a geothermal system featuring 100 underground probes, the facility runs on 100% renewable energy while maintaining a carbon-neutral footprint. Even more impressive? An 8,000 m² reforestation project and the installation of ten beehives housing around one million bees — all reinforcing Bvlgari’s deep ecological commitment. But Bvlgari doesn’t stop there. The new Scuola Bvlgari, created in partnership with the Tarì Design School, offers professional training in jewelry-making and gemstone setting, open to the public and officially recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education. This initiative complements the existing Bvlgari Jewelry Academy, forming a complete ecosystem dedicated to preserving and passing on Italy’s master craftsmanship. With plans to employ more than 1,600 artisans by 2029 and major investments in employee wellness, Bvlgari is redefining modern luxury: sustainable, inclusive, and rooted in heritage. A masterstroke proving that excellence and responsibility can — and should — go hand in hand.
